Candidate Filing Information

 

 

When: Candidate Filing begins November 8 at 10 am. Filing concludes December 8 at 6 PM.
The office will be open Monday November 24, 2025 from 4:30-6:00 pm and Monday December 8, 2025 4-6 pm. No drop offs please. If you need to file outside of office hours please contact Chairman David Stein at [email protected]. 

 

Where: Filing happens at GOP HQ 3923 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75701

 

What you need: Filing form filled out, ready to be notarized and your filing fee!

Notes:

Filing Forms

• Form 2-4- for all candidates including County Judge and Justice of the Peace
• Form 2-6 for all other Judicial Candidates

Filing Fee

• You may bring cash, check, money order or cashier’s check. All made out to “Smith County Republican Party”.
